Meet the CLASP team :)
Hello :) We are the management, playworkers and support workers who work as a team to keep CLASP running. We provide a warm fun environment for the children and their health and safety are of paramount importance to us. Staff are key workers and complete health and safety training, food hygiene, allergy awareness, child protection and emergency first aid at work training. We are all registered with the SSSC and follow Scottish Government Guidance reporting to and are scrutinised and inspected by the Care Inspectorate. Playworkers are qualified. Assistant playworkers are working towards their qualification.

Having worked here at CLASP for the last 10 years, I have developed trusting relationships with children and families throughout this time. I hold SVQ 2 and 3 qualifications in childcare. My favourite part of the job is seeing the impact I have on a child’s day. My goal is to ensure all children feel safe, welcome and heard at all times. I am a Mum of two amazing kids and we love going on adventures as a family and exploring new places.

In my spare time, I like to take my daughter out on adventures, cooking, going out with friends and listening to music as I am such a huge Freddie Mercury fan! (but who isn’t)
